Description

We have had a font designed in line with the cursive handwriting taught in most UK primary schools. The cursive form is difficult for children to grasp and with our board your child can practice the movement and shape of each letter in their name in a hands on way.

As the boards are pre-cursive it shows each of the entry and exit lines for each of the letters. This will help your child become familiar with the way each letter in their name is formed.

Handmade
Our pre-cursive name tracing boards are made from FSC solid beech wood and finished with a natural raw oil. The wooden tracing stick is made from beech dowel and is designed to be similar to that of a pencil to help your child develop their pencil grip.

All our products are CE tested

Dimensions
Our wooden name boards vary in size depending on the name of your child. The width will always vary between 12 and 14cm depending the letters in your child’s name.
The beech wood dowel is always 10 cm long

Custom Options

We now have the option to combine both the pre-cursive and the cursive form of writing on one board. If you would like your child’s name in both forms please select ‘Double Sided’ from the menu option. There is an additional charge of £10 if you choose to have both forms of writing.
